For the climate-minded reader

Here’s a couple books that we, at Climate Counts, recommend. Written by Lynne Cherry and Gary Braasch, these two selections provide useful and engaging content for teachers, parents and kids to become informed on global climate change.

How We Know What We Know About Our Changing Climate: Scientists and Kids Explore Global Warming, an illustrated story about climate change, which won the AAAS*/Subaru/Science Magazine Best Middle School Science Book for 2009.
*American Association for the Advancement of Science, the nation’s leading organization of scientists.

Earth Under Fire: how Global Warming is Changing the World, hailed as “essential reading for every citizen” by Al Gore.  Due out in paperback this March.
